Medical Hollowware
Overview
This framework starts on 7 April 2025, runs for 48 months and ends on 6 April 2029.
This framework is for the supply of single use and reusable stainless-steel hollowware. Both disposable and reusable hollowware are used across all departments within the NHS such as Central Sterilisation Services Departments and Wards and may be given to patients when leaving hospital.
Incumbent suppliers have not been awarded to the new framework, resulting in a 100% delist and no reusable plastic hollowware being available on the new framework.
We will ensure continuity of supply by increasing stock holding for existing stocked lines and highlighting new hollowware alternatives where existing products are supplied on the eDirect route to market.
For single use hollowware, where existing products are stocked, we will hold a number of weeks additional stock post live whilst we work through our mitigations and a new alternative can be made available on the framework.
See our Useful Links section for related frameworks, including Medical Pulp and Procedure Packs.
