New Clinical Executive Director Appointed
NHS Supply Chain is pleased to announce that Michelle Johnson has been appointed as Clinical Executive Director and will be joining the organisation on 4 December 2023.
Michelle joins NHS Supply Chain from North Central London (NCL) Integrated Care Board where she held the post of Deputy Chief Clinical Officer. She has worked within the NHS as a registered adult and child nurse for over 38 years and has held senior operational management and nurse leadership posts in hospital, mental health, and community health services mostly across north London.
Recent previous posts include Chief Nurse and Director of Allied Health Professionals at Whittington Health NHS Trust, Chief Nurse at Camden and Islington NHS Foundation Trust and Director of Nursing for Children & Young People at Barts Health NHS Trust. She is a Queen’s Nurse, has a MSc Child Health and has been a Florence Nightingale Children and Young People’s Leadership Scholar. She is a Trustee and vice chair for Roald Dahl Marvellous Children’s Charity.
I am delighted that Michelle is joining us, and I am looking forward to working with her. Her clinical leadership and expertise will strengthen our ambition to provide greater value to our NHS partners as we take forward our vision and strategy.
