Delisting Tristel Solutions Limited Instrument Wipes FAL15585 (ICN 2480)

Change:

• The supplier Tristel Solutions has informed us of a discontinuation with its Instrument Wipes.
• There is one product code affected:
  • FAL15585 – Instrument wipes – Solo for Ultrasound disinfectant wipes 12×100.
• The supplier is discontinuing this product as they will no longer be manufacturing the wipe. The supplier has made the commercial decision to not produce the wipes in accordance with the Medical Device Regulation and will therefore be unable to manufacture or supply the wipe from 18 April 2024.

Impact:          

• The affected product code is available whilst stocks last, once depleted it will then be delisted from our online catalogue.
• The Solo wipe is predominately used with non-invasive medical devices so any alternative identified would need to be reviewed due to complexities surrounding material compatibility.

Next Steps:               

• The supplier, Tristel Solutions have advised that they can support customers with reviewing potential alternative products, depending on the application.
• NHS Supply Chain may have wipes available on other frameworks for customers to consider, depending on the application.
