• The supplier Becton Dickinson UK Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Extension Set PCA products:
  • FSB886 – Extension set PCA 2 way with check valve rotating luer lock self-priming cap kink resistant tubing.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue this product is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• FSB886 is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
