Supply Issues Clement Clarke International Ltd Respiratory Products Multiple Products (ICN 2192)

• The supplier Clement Clarke International Ltd has informed us that the supply issue with its Respiratory products is ongoing.
• Six further product codes are now affected.
• Four are subject to intermittent supply:
  • FDD467 – Peak Flow Meter mouthpiece
  • FDE023 – Peak Flow Meter mouthpiece
  • FDE480 – Venturi valve with reservoir tubing
  • FDE583 – Support products for nebulisers.
• Two codes are subject to Protect Demand Management:
  • FDE191- Nebuliser chamber kit with mouthpiece and tubing adult
  • FDE205 – Nebuliser chamber kit with mask and tubing paediatric.
• FDE305 remains suspended and unavailable to order.
• Seven product codes are affected in total.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue FDE191 and FDE205 are now being threshold managed as they are subject to Protect Demand Management. And will be available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.

• There are no alternative products available for FDE583.
• Potential direct and indirect alternative products are available to order through our online catalogue for some of the affected products. However, some of these products may also become subject to intermittent supply with the increase in demand.

• The supplier Clement Clarke International Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Nebuliser chamber kit with mask and tubing adult Nebuliser 10ml capacity mask and 1.8m tubing, FDE305.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.

Impact:

• FDE305 is currently suspended and unavailable to order.
