Coloplast Limited, a supplier of several catheter products, is experiencing ongoing issues with several of its catheter ranges. Coloplast has advised us that it has insufficient capacity at its manufacturing and sterilisation plants due to increased global demand.
Coloplast is regularly reviewing capacity and training at its manufacturing plant but does not anticipate that normal levels of supply will be resumed until Summer 2025. During this time, we will continue to receive intermittent supply of stocked and non-stocked product lines, however Coloplast has committed to fulfilling NHS Supply Chain orders as top priority.
How we’re supporting
We will continue to update the Product Listing on this ICN on a weekly basis with the latest codes on suspension or intermittent supply, along with any direct or indirect alternatives. We will regularly work with Coloplast to ensure key milestones and dates are met as part of its recovery plans, until normal levels of supply are resumed.
