  • 12 additional product codes are now affected.
    • FGE8405, FGE8409, FGE8418, FGE8433, FTX7604, FTX7602, FGE8405, FGE8409, FGE8418, FGE8433, FTX7604, and FTX7602.
  • There are 18 product codes affected in total, and they are all subject to intermittent supply.
  • The majority of the affected product codes have potential alternatives.

  • Customers are to review the alternatives provided along with contacting the supplier directly and or the Minimally Invasive Team. The Clinical Implementation and Engagement Manager within the team is available to provide and advise on alternative products.
  • Please note that if customers choose an alternative supplier for products such as laparoscopic stapler and circular stapler advice will need to be sought on clinically appropriate staple reloads.
  • Please contact the relevant supplier for advice, education, and training.
  • Please seek advice from your clinicians about ordering different length linear cutters and contact your local Johnson & Johnson representative.
  • The supply issue is still anticipated to be resolved by 1 July 2023.
