Supply Issues KCI (3M) Fluid Warming Irrigation FSB2507 (ICN 2420)

Change:

• The supplier KCI Medical (3M) has informed us of a supply issue with its Irrigation fluid warmer, FSB2507.
• The supply issue is due to supplier manufacturing issues.
• The affected product is a consumable for the supplier’s Ranger system.

Impact:

• FSB2507 is currently suspended and unavailable to order until August 2024.
• Please note the catalogue will reflect the suspension and will be updated in the next coming days.
• Unfortunately, there are no alternative consumable products available as it’s linked to the capital equipment.

• The supplier has advised the supply issue may not be resolved until 2 August 2024.   

 Next Steps:

• An information for clinical choice (ICC) will be published on the website within February which lists other available capital equipment.  Alternative options require review at a local level.
