Supply Issues Richardson Healthcare Ltd Dressing Products EIJ025 and EJE139 (ICN 2483)

Change:

• The supplier Richardson Healthcare Ltd has informed us of a supply issue with its Dressing products.
• The two product codes affected are:
  • EIJ025 – Dressing Adhesive Island Non-Woven Fabric Semi Permeable Backing Sterile
  • EJE139 – Non-adhesive super absorbent dressing Sterile.
• The supplier has advised that due to the current situation in the Red Sea they are expecting intermittent supplies of these products for the next few months.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue EIJ025 is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management.

Impact:

• EIJ025 is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
• EJE139 is currently suspended and unavailable to order.
• Potential indirect alternative products are available to order through our online catalogue.
