• The supplier Zebra Technologies has informed us of a supply issue with some of their laser wristband products.
• The two product codes affected are:

• The supply issue is due to reduced manufacturing capabilities.

 Impact:          

• The manufacturer has expanded the manufacturing site and encountered unexpected machinery issues which have caused unforeseen downtime.
• The affected codes are currently unavailable to order.
• There are potential indirect alternatives for some of the products. These products are available to order through our online catalogue:
  • FSL486 – Bracelet patient identification printable
  • FSL85017 – Bracelet patient identification printable.
• However, some of these products may also be subject to intermittent supply.

• Customers may need to alter their printer settings to match the correct template from on the sheet. The supplier has offered to support this.

• The main alternative FSL486 is a paediatric version of the two codes with supply issues. They come with an extender alongside the paediatric wristband which can be added to make these suitable for adults.
