• The supply issue with 2 Litre Drainage Bag products from Clinisupplies Ltd and Coloplast Ltd is continuing.
• Please note a product matrix has now been added to this ICN which includes eDirect and Blue Diamond alternatives, and is spilt by category:

  • Night Bag Single Use
  • Night Bag Sterile Reusable.
• Five product codes remain affected:
  • FSE238 – Urine Night/Bed Bag
  • FSE239 – Urine Night/Bed Bag
  • FSE270 – Urine Night/Bed Bag
  • FSE271 – Urine Night/Bed Bag
  • GDF053 – Urine Night/Bed Bag.
• FSE238 is being threshold managed as it remains subject to Protect Demand Management.
• FSE238 is available to order through NHS Supply Chain. However, trusts are allocated a maximum daily quantity or “threshold” to ensure fair supply of available stock across the NHS.
• Three of the affected codes remain suspended and unavailable to order:
  • FSE239, FSE270 and FSE271.
• GDF053 remains subject to intermittent supply.

• The suppliers Clinisupplies Ltd and Coloplast Ltd have informed us of a supply issue with their 2 Litre Night Drainage Bag products.
• The five product codes affected are:
  • FSE238 – Urine Night/Bed Bag
  • FSE239 – Urine Night/Bed Bag
  • FSE270 – Urine Night/Bed Bag
  • FSE271 – Urine Night/Bed Bag
  • GDF053 – Urine Night/Bed Bag.
• The supply issue is due to increased demand and lead times.
• Due to this ongoing supply issue FSE238 is now being threshold managed as it is subject to Protect Demand Management

Impact:
