Supply Issues Vygon Heimlich Valve Adaptors FGV044 (ICN 2399)

Change:

• The supplier Vygon has informed us of a supply issue with its Heimlich Valve Adaptors, FGV044.
• The supply issue is due to increased demand and lead times.
• Vygon has seen a huge increase in demand with Heimlich Valve Adaptors globally. Where normal supply was around 10,000 units per month, it has increased to around 30,000 and available stock was used up before further production was due to complete, leaving no product available.

Impact:

• FGV044 is currently suspended and unavailable to order.
• Unfortunately, there are no alternatives available. Customers are advised to view the online catalogue for products they deem suitable.
• We are in the process of checking the kits currently listed in our online catalogue for any options that include an adaptor that could be used in the interim, we will keep updating on this as we hear back from the suppliers.

• The supply issue is anticipated to be resolved by 1 March 2024.
