We have an exciting opportunity within NHS Supply Chain for a Digital Experience Research Analyst to join our Customer Engagement team.

 

What does a Digital Experience Research Analyst do at NHS Supply Chain?

 

As a Digital Experience Research Analyst, you will design and lead research initiatives with a focus on understanding user needs and user experience. This research will incorporate both quantitative and qualitative methodologies, and the findings will help to inform the future direction of NHS Supply Chain’s digital strategy.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Define and communicate a clear view of our customer experience, using tools such as journey maps and qualitative touchpoint analysis to identify pain points and opportunities.

Conduct comprehensive research and data analysis to develop a deep understanding of customer segments, trends, needs and expectations. Utilise qualitative methods such as customer interviews alongside quantitative data capture through surveys, platform analytics and other channels.

Generate data and analytics reports to support decision making and effective prioritisation of initiatives.

Develop and maintain key performance indicators to track the effectiveness of digital experience initiatives and measure success.

Identify opportunities for enhancing our digital experience, processes and systems. Establish a continuous feedback loop into the Product Management, Product Ownership and Business Readiness teams to inform the future backlog of work.

Regularly present research findings to key internal stakeholders at all levels, including the Digital Commerce team and Voice of Customer team.

 

 

What skills, qualifications and qualities do I need to be successful?

 

Proven experience in user research (minimum 5+ years), with proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research techniques.

Experience with agile working practices and the development of digital platforms is advantageous.

Ability to interpret data effectively to make recommendations on future direction, whilst offering guidance and training to others on data analysis.

You can make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems. Capable of dissecting complex issues from multiple angles, identifying root causes from symptoms.

You build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions. Passionate about problem-solving and ensuring customer satisfaction.

 

You apply your knowledge of the business and the marketplace to advance the

organisation’s goals. You ask probing questions and draws on a variety of sources to

gain insight and to explore business drivers or industry trends.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to manage competing priorities and a challenging workload in a fast-paced environment.

Resilient and solution focused mindset, able to adapt to changing circumstances and overcome obstacles easily.

Must be a team player with strong collaboration skills and a demonstrated ability to lead effectively across functions.

Hybrid working; a blend of home and office working with 2/3 days in the office and 2/3 days at home.
