NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.

 

This is an exciting opportunity to support and guide the financial reporting team in several areas including both internal and external reporting, technical accounting, and audit. 

  

Every day you will … 

Will deliver accurate internal reporting and analysis to internal and external stakeholders.

Support timely decision-making and ensure the accurate delivery of external reporting (statutory accounts, stakeholder, and ONS reporting).

A SME for technical financial advice, writing technical papers, and advising as necessary.

Responsible for payroll reporting, as well as management of the internal and external audits
.

 What skills will help you thrive in this role?

A fully qualified accountant with several years of experience in this role.

Significant experience in financial accounting and audit knowledge

Technical accounting expertise

Able to support the implementation of financial systems process changes and enhancements and ensure all changes are effectively implemented.

The ability to develop effective working relationships and ensure stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and met.
